MANILA, Philippines - A militant transport group on Sunday vowed to paralyze 80 percent of public transport in Metro Manila during their strike on Monday.

“We are confident of paralyzing 80 percent of public transport in the metropolis, especially with the decision of other transport groups to join us,” said George San Mateo, secretary general of the Pinag-Isang Samahan ng mga Tsuper at Opereytors Nationwide (Piston).

Expected to participate in the strike are Unified Transport Federation of Makati, Alliance of Concerned Truckers Operators Organization, Eastern Transport Council, Bayan Transport and other groups from Pasay, Parañaque and Marikina cities.

The strike is in protest of the continuous increase in the prices of fuel products by local oil players, particularly the three largest firms Petron, Chevron and Pilipinas Shell Corporation.

San Mateo said simultaneous transport stoppages would also be held in Southern Tagalog, Baguio, Panay and Guimaras islands, Davao, General Santos City, Cagayan De Oro, Legazpi and Cebu.

He said they did not ask other transport groups such as the Alliance of Concerned Transport organization (ACTO) and the Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (Fejodap) to join since they are “clearly on the side of the government.”

“Maliwanag na kumikiling sa pamahalaan ang mga grupong ito at sumasalamin na sa kanilang mga panuntunan at hindi na nakakabuti sa kapakanan ng mga tsuper at mananakay [It’s clear from their actions that these groups are on the side of the government],” he said.

Piston claims to have 200, 000 members nationwide. - GMANews.TV

Granado Espada, known as Sword of the New World: Granado Espada in North America, is a Korean fantasy MMORPG developed by IMC Games Co.,Ltd., and published in North America by K2 Network. It launched in the summer of 2007. Granado Espada won the 2006 Korean awards for Best Graphics and Game of the Year, with features previously unseen in an MMORPG (such as the ability for players to control multiple characters at the same time). Granado Espada features a unique art style based on the Baroque period of Europe, differing from the standard “swords and sorcery” fantasy themes of the genre.

for more information visit http://ge.iahgames.com

The first English version of the game began Open Beta Testing on May 17, 2007. Publisher K2_network announced in January 2007 that they would be bringing Granado Espada to the North American and European markets in Summer 2007 under the title of Sword of the New World.[1]. The game was originally released under a pay-to-play model. On August 21, 2007, Sword of the New World became free-to-play.

On the 10 August 2007, IAHGames, which the game is licensed to in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam, announced its business model for Granado Espada.[2] Subsequently they informed players that on August 30, 2007, the game would become commercial. IAHGames gave players a 90-day free trial if they achieved Level 20 by that time. New players have a free five-day trial period and after which, they are required to pay. On December 05, 2007, as with its versions in other countries, the game became free-to-pla
